Kindle Books Outselling Hardcovers on Amazon by 43%

Amazon announced that sales of books for its popular Kindle reading device are far outpacing sales of hardcover books. The online retailer said that it's sold 143 Kindle e-books for every 100 hardcover books over the past three month. In the last four weeks, that figure has jumped to 180 e-books per every 100 hardcovers.

Just got a Nook. Love it!! Although I love the actual feel of holding a book, it is really easy to read on the Nook. Light weight to hold, can make the print bigger so it's easier to read, it will go right back to where I was reading when I open it, etc. I also get ebooks sent right to my Nook from my local library so those are free and it's just like checking them out. Wondering if schools bought these, if kids would be as excited about reading on it as I am!!! HMMM!
